Today we used our imagination and built a lego barn. We had fun playing with the farmer his family and the barnyard animals. Garret made a game of sending the farmer off for apple juice and pizza in his blue tractor.

Yesterday while at Target Garret and I decided to buy a tricycle We didn't get a chance to ride around yesterday. So today he was super excited to ride his new bike! He doesn't quite have the peddling concept down but he is great at cruising down hill on the driveway. We got a dinosaur helmet which is pretty cute. We will see how long it takes until he is riding around the block.

It has been raining a lot in the afternoons here so our new hobby is puddle jumping. It makes socks and shoes pretty soggy but Garret thinks the water is hilarious to jump around and run in.

Fathers Day 2010

This weekend was pretty relaxing. On Saturday Garret spent some time with his Mimi while his mom worked. They went out to the store and came back with a new shape toy, a car hat, and train DVD. All of the purchases were a hit. When I got off work we went swimming in the pool and washed his play car with the hose. It has been raining in the evenings lately here so we were able to watch the train DVD and of course his favorite Mickey Mouse Club House DVD's too.

Sunday we went to church with Papa for fathers day. We came home and had a big breakfast with the whole family. After our afternoon nap the family (minus Randa) =( went to go see Toy Story 3. I was impressed with how well Garret behaved. He was really into Woody and Buzz Lightyear! It may have had something to do with the enormous bag of skittles. He doesn't get to eat candy very often. We had a great weekend. Happy Fathers Day!
